Proper pot size

These plants prefer to be slightly rooted, so don't rush to repot them.
In general, repotting takes place every three years or when roots begin to appear in the drainage holes.
When repotting, choose a pot that is a few inches larger than the current pot and make sure that the root ball is about a few centimeters below the edge of the pot.
Maintain adequate humidity levels

Native to the Brazilian rainforests, Christmas cacti enjoy a humidity level of 50 to 60%.
You can increase the local humidity by misting the plant, using a humidifier nearby, or installing a humidity tray.
You can also place the cactus in the bathroom when you take a shower.
