Preheating: Turn on your oven and set it to 180°C (350°F). Let it heat for about 10 minutes.
Preparing the solution: In a saucepan, combine water with 2 cups of white vinegar and bring to a boil.
Steam action: Once the mixture is ready, turn off the oven and place the bowl containing the solution inside. Let it sit for 30 minutes. The steam from the mixture will soften the baked-on grease.
Cleaning: Put on gloves and use a sponge soaked in the solution. Scrub the oven walls and glass to easily remove the softened dirt.
Rinsing: Finally, wipe the walls with a damp cloth, then dry with a bamboo microfiber cloth. Your oven will not only be clean but also disinfected.
Tip 2: Baking soda, the grease-fighting weapon.
Baking soda is another extremely effective natural solution for cleaning the oven. Thanks to its abrasive properties, it dissolves and removes ingrained dirt while neutralizing bad odors.
