Jill Biden Reveals the One Nighttime Symptom She Flagged to White House Doctors Before Joe's Diagnosis
It is something he now lives with permanently, monitored through testing every three months. She compared it to walking a tightrope that never ends.
"Anybody who's gone through this cancer journey... it's constant. It's daily. And I think it's challenging," she said, adding that she has faced this kind of fight before with other family members, including her late son Beau.
Here's where it gets frustrating. Joe wasn't undiagnosed because nobody noticed anything unusual. Jill noticed. She just didn't know what it meant yet.

While Joe was still in the White House, she began seeing a nighttime pattern that concerned her enough to say something to the physicians treating him. At the time, she believed the issue had been dealt with. It hadn't.
Jill reveals that Joe had been getting up to use the bathroom seven times a night — a detail she raised with White House doctors well before the cancer was ever mentioned. Nothing came of it at the time, so she assumed the matter was closed. It wasn't closed. It was just beginning.
