I made my prom dress from my late father's old uniform - but what I found hidden in the fabric shocked me.

The scissors had barely begun to cut into my late father's police jacket when a ripple sound came from beneath the lining. Grandma Ellen discovered a row of crooked stitches, cut them out, and pulled out an envelope addressed to me. Dad's first sentence made me cry. The next one made Grandma collapse into an armchair.

Grandma's eyes fell upon those words: "Please, don't trust Glen..."
