Here is a list of foods that should never be put in the freezer:

1- Eggs
: Whole eggs cannot be frozen because their shells are likely to crack. This could lead to bacterial contamination. The same applies to mayonnaise, egg-based sauces, and cooked eggs such as hard-boiled eggs. They will become spongy, rubbery, or even completely hard. However, egg whites can be stored separately in the freezer for up to four months.

2- Tubers:
Raw tubers such as swedes, parsnips, and especially potatoes should not be frozen as this alters their texture and mineral content. Simply keep them cool in a dark place, away from heat, to prevent sprouting.

However, cooked potatoes or other cooked tubers of the same kind can be placed in the freezer.
